The Story of a Conscious Rebirth

My first company operated from 2005 to 2014. It gave me the foundation — understanding how to build a business from scratch, manage a team, and take responsibility for results.

Then I paused. For nine years.

I moved into large corporations — Rostelecom, Rosatom, Rosseti, the Central Bank of Russia. I worked in venture funds. Managed projects with budgets up to 500 million RUB. Participated in M&A and IT audits. Led teams of developers, analysts, and DevOps. Implemented systems and brought products to market.

It was a conscious step. I didn't just want to "be in IT" — I wanted to understand how systems work at the holding level, how strategic decisions are made, how technology turns into profit.

In 2023, I rebuilt my business. But not as a startup — as a mature IT and consulting practice, built on 26 years of experience.

Today, I am not just a company. I am a system architect who writes code. A tech lead who develops teams. An investor who chooses founders, not just ideas. And a mentor who shares knowledge.

My focus — comprehensive business solutions: from software/IoT development and process audits to startup packaging.
My clients — technology companies, small and medium businesses, and startup founders.

My Roles

System Architect & Tech Lead

I design fault‑tolerant, cloud‑native architectures and software‑hardware systems (SHS). I stay hands‑on: code reviews, prototypes, solving complex technical problems.

Over 500 projects behind me. Clients include: Rostelecom, Rosatom, Rosseti, AEON, Central Bank of Russia, AO RIMERA, Sklifosovsky Research Institute.

Geography: Russia, Bangladesh, Thailand, Malaysia, Georgia, Armenia, Turkey, Croatia.

Venture Investor

I selectively invest in startups at Pre‑seed and Seed stages. Not as a classic fund, but as a business angel.

My main filter: "What is the founder willing to sacrifice when things go wrong?"

I invest in founders I believe in — and in domains where I can add value beyond money: FinTech, LegalTech, AI/ML, industrial technologies, IoT.

Mentorship & Coaching

I share my experience. I run mentoring sessions for startup founders and IT professionals in two directions:
- Technical (architecture, development and project management, DevOps, system design, system and business analysis);
- Business (strategy, fundraising, team building, management reporting, budgets and financial models).
I taught at MADI. My students now work at Rostelecom and other leading companies.
I constantly upgrade my skills with top experts — this allows me to pass on only up‑to‑date knowledge.

What I Offer

  • Hardware‑software systems (IoT) — from design to production launch and industrial operation;
  • System architecture and tech leadership — full cycle: from distributed system design to cloud migration and legacy modernisation;
  • IT strategy and digital transformation — implementation of ERP (1C, Oracle), BI, GIS, OSS/BSS, BIM, WMS, ServiceDesk. I turn IT from a cost centre into a profit driver;
  • Startup mentoring and technical due diligence — for founders and investors: assessment of technology stack, team, and scalability;
  • IT audit for M&A — independent assessment of IT landscape, staffing, team motivation, over‑engineering, architecture alignment with business goals, SLA and regulatory compliance;
  • Import substitution — proven experience in replacing software and hardware systems.

A Personal Message from Me

26+ years in IT — from writing code to managing projects with multi‑million‑ruble budgets and investing in startups.

My approach is simple: I stay hands‑on, I think strategically, and I only take on projects where I can make a real difference.

If you need an architect who writes code, a tech lead who mentors, or an investor who understands the trenches — let’s talk.

Yours sincerely, Vladimir Samorodov
