I am Vladimir Samorodov. 26+ years in IT — I have worked at all levels: from writing code to strategic management and C-level. My value is not in the list of technologies, but in how I combine technical expertise with business understanding.

System Architecture & Tech Leadership

What I do as a system architect:
— Design distributed systems and cloud architectures (C4, ArchiMate, DDD);
— Develop hardware-software systems (HSS) — from embedded systems and IoT solutions to industrial equipment. I work with microcontrollers, single-board computers, and specialised computing modules for data collection, control, and analytics;
— Audit existing architectures and prepare modernisation plans;
— Help with cloud migration (K8s, Docker) and building a DevOps culture;
— Stay hands‑on: code reviews, prototypes, solving complex technical problems.
And then I switch into Tech Lead / Project Manager / Product Owner mode:
— Author's supervision over implementation — I don't just hand over the architecture and leave. I accompany the team at all stages: from development to deployment;
— Manage development teams (from small groups of 5–10 to large ones of 50–450 people): assign tasks, conduct code reviews, resolve technical conflicts, synchronise backend, frontend, DevOps, and analysts;
— Lead the project as a PM: plan sprints, manage the backlog, handle risks, budgets, and deadlines. I am accountable for results to stakeholders;
— Step in as a Product Owner — when the client lacks a clear vision, I help articulate requirements, prioritise features, and build a roadmap;
— Train and mentor team leads within the team, so that after I leave, the project remains in capable hands.

What I do:

— Help with business automation and ERP / CRM implementation;

— Assist with import substitution of software and hardware systems;
